    This is a limited quantity 11x17 poster that has been digitally printed on heavy cardstock, signed by the whole band, and individually numbered (only 50 were printed). It was designed by Rory and printed at a local print shop in his neighborhood on the north side of Chicago. You'll also receive an immediate digital download of 'I Still Find Hope.'

    The background is a long-exposure digital photograph Rory snapped on a cold evening in the woods of Wisconsin on the outskirts of a campground (using a Canon 6D, 24-105mm lens), and the lyrics are taken from "I Told You," the second-to-last song on 'I Still Find Hope.'

Rory wrote this song in honor of a good friend who served in Afghanistan with the United States Marine Corps (and so, by proxy, this song is in honor of all the men and women who have served in some branch of America's armed forces). In it, Rory walks away from typical patriotic / battle imagery to focus on the confusion, difficulty, and struggle that veterans often face when returning hope and trying to relearn, essentially, their lives. This involves new routines, often different skills, attempting to mend or restart relationships, and sometimes a great deal of uncertainty about the future, especially for those who aren't economically well-off or those who struggle with PTSD.

This song says: thank you for what you have done, and I hope you find emotional resonance with this portrait of a soldier who finds that life at home is in some ways more challenging than life on the battlefield.
